17 years old, passionate horseback rider and Saskatoon Walk Ambassador
Mackenna is 17-year-old high school student, diagnosed with Asperger’s when she was in Grade 1.
Mackenna has always been a very happy and bubbly person. She is very intelligent and insightful. She has an amazing memory from all the books she has read, which is a tremendous amount. With her great memory she loves to share all the facts she has learned with anyone who will listen. Mackenna can struggle with some social skills that come easily to other kids.
Mackenna loves horseback riding. She also participates in dance, soccer, challenger ball and drama. Last year she won a spirit award at Regional Drama.
Our family is very proud to have Mackenna as the Saskatoon Walk Ambassador this year as we participate in our 8th walk.” Tanya Beaulieu, mother – Saskatoon, Jan 2020
