Virtual Reality Demystification Program

Autism Speaks Canada is committed to increasing early childhood screening and timely intervention. Our Family Services Community Grant program has funded $5 million to more than 300 organizations across Canada promoting collaboration and capacity building. In 2017, a $40,000 grant was given to create autism awareness and social inclusion through a highly motivated program to teach prosocial skills and build empathy among peers using virtual reality.

“The VRADP demo was absolutely incredible! It was exciting, engaging and a true learning experience. This program is essential to accomplish the social change our communities need!”
