Walk Now for Autism Speaks Canada
The Walk Now events are the single most important annual fundraising initiative for Autism Speaks Canada to support Scientific Research, Services, Advocacy and Awareness. Yet, the Walks are more than a fundraiser, they provide an incredible opportunity for the ASD community to come together and make connections and feel the support of donors, sponsors, local media, community partners, and corporate sponsors.
Since 2005, Walk Now has grown to 8 signature Walks across Canada, involving over 11,000 walkers, volunteers, and corporations who came together to raise a significant amount of money to support our organization's mission. In fact, Walk Now for Autism Speaks Canada had raised over $9.8 million since 2007. It now takes place in over 100 cities across North America.
Participate, Volunteer, Donate.
Autism Speaks Canada is currently accepting votes for our annual Walk Now for Autism Speaks t-shirt artwork contest. Winning concept artwork will be used on the 2015 Walk Now for Autism Speaks Canada participant T-Shirts to convey the energy, purpose, and passion of Walk Now for Autism Speaks Canada and the more than 12,000 people who raise funds and walk for change.
